We seek an ambitious employee to join our team for the Accounting Assistant position.
The ideal candidate is a member of the Accounting team, responsible for assisting the finance department and senior accounting staff members with various tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable

  • Completing POs

  • Posting bank entries and completing bank reconciliations

  • Contact clients and suppliers to ensure accurate and on-time payments

  • Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies

  • Managing day-to-day transactions

  • Reporting on debtors and creditors

  • Sorting financial documents and posting them to the proper accounts

  • Resolving errors in financial reports and correcting faulty reporting methods

Job requirements

Must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or a related subject

  • Preferable 1 year of experience in a similar position

  • Excellent skills in computer and office databases (ex. Microsoft Office Suite)

  • Excellent knowledge of English

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Very good communication skills (oral and written)

  • Team Spirit

Good to have:

  • Familiar with ERP Softone

  • Familiar with ticketing systems
