We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team.
In this role, you will interact with customers and suppliers on a daily basis to ensure accurate and timely accounting and financial processes. You will also support senior accounting staff with day-to-day tasks and month-end activities, contributing to the smooth functioning of the department.
This is a fixed-term position, offered on a one-year contract basis with the possibility of extension depending on business needs.
Responsibilities
Collect, process, and enter financial documents, including invoices and remittances
Respond to customer inquiries and requests via email and telephone
Manage account reconciliations with customers and suppliers, and resolve billing issues to ensure accurate and timely invoicing
Coordinate orders and dispatch equipment, including pricing, license issuance/renewal, and service contracts
Prepare and dispatch monthly and bi-monthly customer invoices
Record bank transactions, perform bank reconciliations, and conduct the monthly financial close
Maintain records for partners and resellers, including calculation and processing of commissions
Resolve errors in financial reports and correct faulty reporting methods

Job requirements
Must have:
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or a related subject
Preferable 1 year of experience in a similar position
Experience with double-entry bookkeeping for Category C companies
Excellent skills in computer and office databases (ex. Microsoft Office Suite)
Excellent command of English (oral and written)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good to have:
Familiarity with ERP Softone
Familiarity with ticketing systems
Familiarity with CRM platforms
