We are currently seeking a Systems Analyst to join our IT Operations team!
This role combines technical expertise in system monitoring, data analysis and incident response, to ensure optimal performance of our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights for various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze system logs, database performance metrics, and infrastructure health indicators
Develop and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting
Investigate system anomalies, performance issues, and security incidents
Generate detailed reports and dashboards to communicate system status to management & technical teams
Collaborate with system administrators, developers, and business stakeholders to resolve issues
Establish and maintain monitoring thresholds and alerting mechanisms
Document processes, procedures, and system configurations
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis activities
Recommend system improvements and optimization strategies
Support IT operations (including day-to-day basic operations in MS365)

Job requirements
Must have
Familiarity with SQL for database querying and analysis
Experience with scripting for automation and data processing (preferably Python)
Familiarity with Linux system administration and command line tools
Experience with log analysis tools and techniques (e.g. grep, awk, sed, ELK stack)
Familiarity with system monitoring tools and platforms
Knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
Collaborative mindset and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
Nice to have
1-2 years of experience in systems analysis, IT operations, or related field
Experience with enterprise-level system monitoring and log management
Background in data analysis and performance optimization
Experience working in cross-functional technical teams
Great to have
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Understanding of cybersecurity and practices
