As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our Voice and SMS wholesale team and seeking a detail-oriented and driven Wholesale SMS Account Specialist. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at building relationships, and have a passion for telecommunications, we’d love to meet you.
Role Overview
As a Wholesale SMS Account Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of modulus’ international SMS wholesale business. You will manage a portfolio of strategic accounts and develop long-term partnerships with carriers, aggregators, CPaaS providers, and OTT platforms. You will be responsible for the commercial success, operational health, and overall customer satisfaction of your accounts.
This is a hands-on position suited to individuals with excellent organizational skills, a commercial mindset, and a strong understanding of the A2P SMS market.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and expand a portfolio of key wholesale SMS accounts (both buy and sell side)
Identify and develop new business opportunities with international carriers and aggregators
Optimize routing and pricing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining service quality
Conduct regular business reviews and in-depth performance analyses with key partners
Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and volume commitments
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (technical, legal, billing, finance) to ensure seamless service delivery and successful partner onboarding
Monitor and analyze SMS traffic quality and proactively resolve issues
Represent modulus at major industry events and conferences (e.g., Capacity, GCCM) to strengthen our global network and brand presence

Job requirements
Must have
Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Business, or related field
Experience in SMS wholesale or A2P SMS business development/account management
Substantial commercial and negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a collaborative mindset
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, competitive international environment
Willingness to travel internationally to attend key industry events
Fluency in both Greek and English (written and spoken)
Good to have
1 year of experience in telecoms, preferably in wholesale Voice/SMS
Familiarity with telecom KPIs and tools for traffic analysis
Experience working with international carriers or aggregators
Knowledge of an extra language is a plus (e.g. Spanish, Arabic, French)
